Celestial Inspired Luxury Wedding Editorial – Nikki Santerre

by typeasociety

A winter day in Virginia led us to the luxurious, Great Marsh Estate for a Celestial Inspired Luxury Wedding Editorial for Nikki Santerre. It was a great joy to plan Nikki Santerre’s Editorial!

Objective for Nikki Santerre’s Editorial:

I was approached by Nikki, who was looking to produce a luxury editorial production. She desired to attract high-end wedding clients and book weddings at dream venues. Our collaboration would create something magical and ethereal to elevate Nikki’s wedding experience and industry presence.

Washington DC Photographer – Nikki Santerre:

A fine art wedding photographer based in the middle of Washington DC and Richmond, Virginia, Nikki travels across the country to document weddings. All of Nikki Santerre’s couples enjoy an intimate and luxurious experience. She is a highly talented Virginia wedding photographer who is considered a hybrid photographer due to her love of film. It was a pleasure to assist her with up-leveling her pricing.

Wedding Photographers – How to Book Your Ideal Client:

As a wedding stylist, it’s my passion to help like-minded wedding professionals. Most often, wedding photographers approach me about how to increase their pricing. It is common in your business to feel confident about your work, yet you aspire to reach a higher level. The challenge of taking this on yourself is a huge undertaking, which is why people contact me for help. Our mission at Type A Society is to produce luxury editorial productions that will inspire you to reach new heights in your business. So you’re probably wondering how to up-level your photography pricing? The solution is simple: show off more luxurious content. If you lack that content, then photographing an editorial is the most suitable option because you will get abundant material from the production. Once you have the work to showcase, you will feel confident raising your prices as a wedding photographer!

Great Marsh Estate – Virginia Wedding Venue:

The Great Marsh Estate was the perfect setting for Nikki Santerre’s editorial. It’s an enchanting-looking estate just outside Washington, DC, that I knew would fit perfectly with the vibe we were trying to create.

Wedding Wardrobe Stylist:

Choosing the wardrobe for an editorial is one of the best parts of planning! Carine’s Bridal provided all wedding gowns for this luxury editorial at Great Marsh Estate. As a wedding wardrobe stylist, I chose stunning dresses like Carolina Herrera, and Oscar De La Renta. Staying true to the ODLR quintessential look, one of the ball gowns was a strapless silk dress with a sweetheart neckline, feathered markings, and high-low hemline.

As it became dusk, we created a constellation-like design on the front lawn of the venue. This design challenged our team because of the elements of the weather. We successfully lit all the candle votives and got some prodigious portraits.

It’s rewarding to see how Nikki Santerre has progressed since we revealed her luxury editorial. Her leading-edge expansive creativity has allowed her to raise her prices successfully and limits the number of weddings each year to give each couple a fantastic experience.
