It was such a joy to create this Lush Garden Wedding Editorial at Beaulieu Garden with Amanda Wei!

You’ll find the beautiful Beaulieu Garden located in Napa Valley. Throughout this venue, there are several different locations that make for the perfect backdrops. There were magnolia trees, English yew trees, and English boxwoods throughout the Italian Garden and Sunken Garden areas, which transported us to Italy.

Amanda Wei approached me because she was ready to take her photography business to the next level. While she resides in California, she travels worldwide for weddings. The moment I spoke with her about her visions for the future of her business, I knew there was great potential. She has become a luxury wedding photographer because of her incredible talents!

Often, I will get inspiration from quotes and not just from patterns, colors, etc. I had two quotes in mind while planning this luxury wedding editorial. The first one was by Emily Dickinson, “Find the ecstasy in life; the mere sense of living is joy enough.” And the second one, “It’s easy to forget how precious it is to be alive.” I wanted the beauty of the gardens to shine through with this editorial.

For the Beaulieu Garden editorial day, I teamed up with Geraldine Magazine. There were three different looks that we styled for the models. Loho Bridal dresses gave us a simple yet elegant look. To create a cohesive tablescape, we created a minimalistic design that looked inviting with a botanical influence. The table was complemented by green velvet chairs, fern menu cards, and a natural wooden table.

Amazing Outcome of This Luxury Wedding Editorial

This wedding editorial was truly fascinating to do for luxury wedding photographer Amanda Wei! She could use all of the content she captured on this day to up-level her photography portfolio, which put her in another price bracket. Increasing her prices prompted an influx of inquiries and increased sales. She successfully booked her own real wedding at Beaulieu Garden, as the couple saw the gorgeous images she had taken. As she marketed these images on Pinterest, some of the images went viral.
