I’m transporting back a few years ago to this exclusive Amangiri Wedding Editorial with Mon Soleil. On a November day, several of us talented wedding professionals gathered around to create this modern editorial.
Amangiri located in Canyon Point, Utah
As a wedding stylist, I first listen to the client’s wishes and then start thinking about all the possibilities. Creating the vision they desire for a wedding or event is my goal. Amangiri, located in Canyon Point, Utah, was the perfect location for this editorial. With its sleek architecture, this secluded resort is very high-end and luxurious. As we explored the grounds of Amangiri on the day of the shoot, we found several spots with strong shadows and lines that made for a great composition.
Visiting this Utah resort would be the perfect way to gain new inspiration. There was certainly an overload of stimulation among all of us vendors who attended this event. It is such a peaceful setting with desert landscapes all around.
Marissa and Devin from Mon Soleil captured this Amangiri wedding editorial perfectly. These two are world wide and well known photographers and videographers. There is something ethereal about their work that I find so compelling.
Inspiration Behind the Editorial From a Wedding Stylist
Going into this editorial at Amangiri, I pictured very simplistic and modern details. Rather than overdoing it with colorful flowers, I chose to use natural grasses and florals. We stuck with a neutral color palette, with Amangiri being a very neutral-colored building and the canyons in the background. Two bride models wore several looks from Spina Bride for this event.
Because this editorial was published exclusively in Geraldine Magazine, we weren’t allowed to share it immediately! The beauty of how my inspiration becomes a reality and then is captured magnificently by the photographers is so rewarding. With this editorial in Geraldine Magazine, Marissa and Devin, and all the vendors did a fabulous job.
